Shape is a series of collages reflecting on place and experience. The work pictured here began towards the end of a month long residency in Sicily at Officiana Stamperia del Notaio summer 2018 and continued during my time in Florence, summer 2019 (on grey paper).

This work was made using a combination of relief, monoprinting, collagraph, and hand detailing. The colors, textures, patterns, shapes, and their arrangement on the page were used to explore my experience in a new place.
